MEMS eCompass
With its eCompass BMC050 Bosch Sensortec will start a new portfolio of high precision MEMS sensors for compass applications in mobile phones, navigation system and other portable devices.
Two separate sensors are integrated within the 3x3x0.95 mm³ LGA package: a triaxial magnetometer for geomagnetic field detection and a triaxial accelerometer for tilt compensation. The magnetometer is using the measurement principle FlipCore patented by Bosch.
