The ultra-low power BMI270 is an IMU optimized for wearables providing precise acceleration, angular rate measurement and intelligent on-chip motion-triggered interrupt features. The 6-axis sensor combines a 16-bit tri-axial gyroscope and a 16-bit tri-axial accelerometer featuring Bosch’s automotive-proven gyroscope technology. BMI270 includes several functionalities such as an integrated plug-and-play step counter/detector for wrist-worn devices. Moreover, the IMU is suitable for hearables, smart clothes, smart shoes, smart glasses and ankle bands.

BME688

The BME688 is the first gas sensor with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and integrated high-linearity and high-accuracy pressure, humidity and temperature sensors. It is housed in a robust yet compact 3.0 x 3.0 x 0.9 mm³ package and especially developed for mobile & connected applications where size and low power consumption are critical requirements. The gas sensor can detect Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), volatile sulfur compounds (VSCs) and other gases such as carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the part per billion (ppb) range.

spexor – your mobile security assistant

spexor – your mobile security assistant

spexor can not only detect intrusions in countless places but also measures the indoor air quality, detects fire gases, gives temperature alerts and informs you about outdoor air quality and pollen load. In the near future, further functions like the detection of CO, anesthetic gases and camping gases (butane and propane) will be available via software update. You can use spexor anywhere you want: at home, in your caravan, car, garage or garden shed. spexor only needs a connection to a Wi-Fi or mobile network to inform you in case of alarm or hazardous gases on your smartphone. The spexor app is available for free in the Apple App store and in the Google Play store.

BME688 development kit

The BME688 Development Kit can be configured with the BME AI-Studio Software. This allows to optimize performance, ODR and power consumption on specific application needs. By featuring eight BME688 sensors, the board allows you to test and gather data with more than one configuration at the same time. This significantly increases statistics and reduces development time as well.

The BME688 Development Kit App connects via Bluetooth with the BME688 Development Kit and shows the results of the scans. This enables to test developed algorithms live in your application.

As shuttle boards 3.0, a wide variety of Bosch Sensortec's sensors can be plugged into the application board's shuttle board socket. The combination of the application board 3.0 and shuttle board 3.0 can be used to evaluate the sensors and build prototypes to test use cases.
