Barometric pressure sensor

Carefree ready for any adventure. Barometric pressure sensors are a key component in fitness tracking wearables and other applications, enabling altitude to be accurately determined. With its extreme accuracy, BMP585 measures a change in height of just a few centimeters. It can therefore detect movements in fitness training down to the level of individual pull-ups or push-ups. At the same time, users do not have to worry about environmental conditions - thanks to its extreme ruggedness.

The BMP585 has a gel-filled cavity that allows highest protection against water and other liquids such as chemicals with the suitable integration concept. The sensor can be used for applications like height measurement, water-level detection and navigation with a maximum absolute accuracy of ±50 Pa and an temperature coefficient offset (TCO) of ±0.5 Pa/K.

The new BMP585 sensor with its small footprint offers outstanding design flexibility, providing a single package solution that is easy to integrate into other existing and upcoming devices for smartwatches, other wearables, hearables, home appliances, smart homes, and industrial products.
