Keith, Director of Application Engineering

I‘m Keith and I am based in Shanghai and lead the application engineering department at Bosch Sensortec. We are responsible for supporting our customer with the design-in of our sensor in their system.

I initially joined Bosch Sensortec after many years of experience with an international semiconductor manufacturer. In my first position at Bosch Sensortec, in Strategic Marketing, I used my knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded development to steer the company’s software and intelligent sensor strategy. In then led the product management group for sensors and actuators.

I was attracted to Bosch Sensortec because of its focus on developing innovative products for the dynamic Consumer Electronics market, combined with the fact that as a Bosch subsidiary, Bosch Sensortec offers the long-term focus of a multinational, while maintaining the start-up mentality required to react flexibly to changing market requirements.

Most of all, I appreciate the transparent and flexible working culture at Bosch Sensortec - each day I have contact with colleagues from all over the world, I can openly discuss issues directly with the management team, and I have a constant information exchange with our worldwide sales and support teams.
